Music

The picture on the left is the choir, which consists mainly of the youth group. They practice every week, and come out with sounds which impress me. (O.k. it doesn't take much to impress me, but I think most people would think these guys are good.)
The mandolin orchestra plays in the Bircii church every other week. (The opposite week they play in the village down the road.) Only one of the girls actually owns a mandolin and the rest of them play instruments that the church has purchased. Mikayla is way in the back playing the flute, and Anna is still in the audience. She is learning mandolin, but doesn't feel she is good enough to play in public yet.

Your blog is a good thing. It is the only way I can see (pictures) what is going on there, and know that the Lord is working. There is not a lot of good news coming from Bircii so it really helps to see the youth participating and praising the Lord. Besides, your pictures let me see Heather and the rest of the family occasionally. It's great. Thank you!
