We made it!
Thanks for your prayers as we travelled 1/4 of the way around the world. Travel was easy, except somehow I ended up wearing my tightest jeans. It wasn't because of those that I was wanded and searched, however. Not realizing we would have to go through security between Chicago and Dusseldorf, I carried a full water bottle with me in my carry on luggage. The only advantage to this whole scene is realizing I could go under cover if Hitler ever makes a come back. Every security guard talked to me in German.
We don't have an easy i-net connection, but I'll try to keep posting. Right now we're off to our first youth group. We are wearing our coats, not because it is cold outside, but because the church will be chilly.
