Up the Mountain

Three days of driving. Romania's pot holes and snow turn into smooth Hungarian roads. The sun shines and Slovakia greets us with good friends and solid beds. The road goes upwards. We enter Poland over mountain passes embedded with snow.

We're here!

Staff Conference.
Days of speaking just English. Worship with others sold out for Christ. Laughter and playing cards and a Youth Pastor from the States loving and teaching our kids.

Talk and talk and talk with messages speaking to the heart.

The trickle begins. Friends leave. The car is packed. Mountain passes fade. Slovakia turns into Hungary and Hungary into Romania. Potholes return. Watch out!! Romanian drivers are back.

How I love Staff Conference. How I love the mountains.

A wise sage* said it best, though. "Look at the top of those mountains...Is there any Fruit growing up there?"

"This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples."
John 15:8
