Every Saturday at 2pm there is orchestra practice. Mikayla and I grab our mandolins and head down our dirt road towards the church. Some Saturdays we stay in Bircii and other Saturdays we drive to Potcoava to practice. When we get to the church Heather and one or two of the youth are usually there tuning mandolins and setting up.

By the time the rest of the youth have trickled in the mandolins are tuned and we are ready to start practicing. Everyone takes their mandolin, pick and seat. Heather then chooses a song to play and away we go.

After about 2 hours practice is done and we all head home.

The next morning before church the mandolins are tuned again and if we have time we practice some of the songs.

Halfway through church there is a sharing time. This is when the orchestra plays. No one claps but my mom always smiles
