Down The Danube

It's dark.

The moon is hiding behind ever present clouds, and as usual, the street lights are off.

I know I'm in Romania, but my thoughts keep returning to a campsite twenty years ago by a waterfall in Canada.

These thoughts make no sense until I stop and listen.

Can you hear it?

The waters are rushing.

The once empty culverts have turned into rapids.
The snow is exiting and soon will be singing its song in the Danube.

Before long the ditches will dry, and the sound of rapids will retreat.

Or will they?

"...If a man is thirsty , let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

John 7:37.38

LISTEN.
